With back to school approaching soon, you’ll need a few ideas to keep your locker looking fresh! I hope these locker decorating ideas help you figure everything out. No matter what theme you go it will be a sure fire way to be cool and of course get a little extra attention from the girls. Some themes you could implement include Soccer, Football, Hunting, Fishing, Golf, Tractors, Farming, emojis, or something that your son just loves. So, I did a black locker rug, sports themed magnets, simple black shelf and of course a baseball sign. While, most boys won’t go all out if you feature their favorite sport, they will agree to participate in the locker decorating. Then, I switched gears and went to the boys. Because then everything can be hung up and used as decor. Since most lockers are made out of metal, it makes sense to use magnets. Magnets are always the perfect items to have in a locker. Magnetsīut I know girls and they love pictures so I picked up these Magnets to add to the collection and make it pop just a little bit and to finish it off a pink rug and a light using a Selfie Ring Light. You would not think you need all of these items for a locker, but everything in this kit does come in handy. You can buy everything all in one and it’s ready for them. If you just want to go all out and create an awesome locker kit for the teenager in your life, this is the way to go. The 7 piece locker kit included a shelf, storage cup, white board and marker, magnetic mirror and of course a few magnets. How fun is it to look up in your locker and see a chandelier? I always loved this and I know my daughter did too. The Kurt Adler Ornament I used as a chandelier, but if I were using it in a locker I would use a command hook on the ceiling of the locker to keep it in place. Making it more “girly” than Liz would have ever allowed me too, and now I will have some fun decorations for my office, so it is a win, win. So I went with pink and silver to decorate with for the Girls. So when the Middle school movie came out I knew I would have to have some fun “designing” lockers. But I think that the thing I learned is that as long as she loved it, it was affordable and showed her personality that is really all that mattered. But she quickly outgrew that “phase” in life and went with a more girly approach and went with pinks and purples. The boys of course all loved it, but the girls didn’t understand the theme. I know one year in Middle school she did a camouflage wallpaper of sorts using wrapping paper and then she accessorized it with hunters orange. Usually it was pictures, magnets and of course organizers around a general theme. While she wasn’t the “girly” girl who had to have everything, we went through the gamete of decorations through the years. So, when Liz was in Middle school and High school I had to adapt to the “newer” way of doing things. But that is what technology has evolved over the last 20+ years. ![]() That’s it and as you found the next greatest picture you added it to the collection.īut getting pictures printed was all of the rage, but this generation doesn’t have a clue as to what it is like not to take a picture daily. Over the years lockers have changed a lot, when I was in middle school and even high school the most “decorated” was pictures hung up with tape on the back. ![]() So if you have a kid in Middle school encourage them that they will make it through the rocky years and a bumpy road means they are stronger than they give themselves credit for being. ![]() Middle school locker decorationsare everything!Įven Liz said Middle school sucked and she always loved school. But one thing is for certain we have all made it through the dreaded years or now have kids going through it now. I can remember my years of being in those dreaded ages and the memories aren’t so pretty. Middle school is probably one of the worst times in anyone’s life.
